Anonymous Intercept Phone Call Between FBI And Scotland Yard

Hacktivist group Anonymous have released a recording of a telephone conversation between the FBI and Scotland Yard, in which they discuss ongoing investigations into activities surrounding the aforementioned hacking network.

The FBI confirmed the leak is genuine, as their conversation goes into depth about the tracking of Anonymous and other groups within it's network, evidence held by police and the dates of planned arrests.  Alongside this, Anonymous have also published an email that was sent from the FBI, releasing the email addresses of all call participants into the public.

A comment on one of the Twitter account AnonymousIRC sums up what has been a massive security flaw to our government agencies:

The FBI might be curious how we're able to continuously read their internal comms for some time now.

The email was an invite to the conference call that took place on January 17th, which was to "discuss the on-going investigations related to Anonymous, Lulzsec, Antisec, and other associated splinter groups."  It was sent to law enforcement officials across the world, including US, UK, Ireland and Sweden.

In the call itself, which details as to how Anonymous recorded it are still sketchy, UK police and FBI agents share information, including the names of some of the people that are currently being tracked in relation to their investigations into the hackers.  Amongst these, and some of who are censored in the recording, are Ryan Cleary and Jake Davis: two British men who are wanted in American for alleged connections to Anonymous.

We have followed the various exploits of Anonymous, so have become rather weathered to just how much this organisation can do.  This even surprised us.
