Kickstarter Project Launched For 'Open Source Death Star'

If one thing has been made abundantly clear, it's that you people really want a Death Star.  Following last year's petition being turned down by the White House, and continuing threats made by the Dark Side, the Kickstarter community have taken things into their own hands.

A project has been launched to build the Death Star, asking for the total of £20,000,000 to protect ourselves from "threats far far away."  A stretch goal has been made of $850 quadrillion for actual construction (the price quoted by the White House), with the only risk to this investment being "the power of the Force."

Of course, as you may have already guessed from the lunacy, this Kickstarter project is a joke; but let's step back a bit. I find the use of "almost" in the phrase "successful funding is almost impossible" disturbing.  From the comments, it's clear to see people are putting down huge pledges (hitting £5k per person), as they think this is a joke. But they could be in for a bit of a nasty surprise if (and that's a big 'if') they reach their amount and payment is taken.

Plus didn't the original Death Star fall due to open source plans showing an unfortunate exhaust port? The creators say they'll stick some chicken wire over it but still!
