O2 Responds To Infuriated Network Users On Twitter. Perfect Crisis Management
So O2 haven't exactly been the most reliable network over the last couple days. A huge amount of customers have been affected by the network outages across the country, so many have taken to Twitter to vent their anger. Luckily, the in-house social media team of @O2 were waiting, with some rather hilarious responses.
@grahamcummings7 Maybe later, got tweets to send right now.
The British sense of humour, the directness to respond to those more adept at cursing their way through a situation, it all added up to the onlooking masses' hate turning into admiration for what is a prompt victory for O2's crisis management department. Probably demonstrated by Ashley Roberts tweet, followed by a 'burn' of a response from the network.
@AshleyRoberts61 She says no thanks.

They've received a lot of flack over the last couple days (in most situations, deserved, and they'll be the first to admit that); but they waded through it, owned the butthurt individuals into remission, and came out the other end making the public laugh. And that's probably the strongest tool for turning any brand image around in crisis. You've done yourself proud guys!
